Anglers metal dock
Anglers dock has 14 stalls, a bait store, ice
machine, gasoline sales, motor repair, and a boat lift rack. You can fish off the dock for
trout, largemouth, and smallmouth bass. About 150 feet from our dock is an asphalt public
boat launch if you wish to bring your own river boat.
Bass In The River? True, it is odd for
both largemouth and smallmouth bass to inhabit the cold waters of the White River.
However, our dock sits on the confluence of the White River and Sylamore Creek which is a
warm water fishery. Several other warm creeks drain into the White from the nearby hills
of the Ozark National Forest. There are several pockets in the White where the water stays
warm enough to hold both largemouth and smallmouth bass. And yes, they are nice-sized
fish!
